| My suggestion is changing the HRE battle banners to a black background/gold symbol, so that I don't confuse my troops with Denmark's when I'm zoomed out. Everything else looks good already, in my opinion. |

| Good suggestion Rogal Dorn. I will look into the banners. I was also thinking of creating new wooden symbols just for the early era. I made a few but they are on my pc. I'm on my laptop out of town right now. It is possible to have seperate faction icons for each era. Gracul has also created new UI files just for icons. I have cleaned up some of them from my eye candy release, they will be in 6.3. Cant wait for it to release, you guys are really going to like it. My biggest thing was how stable it was right from the start of beta testing. _______________________________________________ Welcome to the Stainless Steel Forum!

| y2day, that's cool, I'm sure it'll look awesome.
English, gracul updated and said it should be released by the end of the month (look in the 6.2 Released/6.3 Discussion thread in the Sub-Mods section of the TWCenter forums). |

| The 6.3 shields are the ones from my submod. I think the wooden round shield would be good for the early era, and use the heater shields currently used for the late era. Im glad you like the round shields. I think they look pretty good too. _______________________________________________ Welcome to the Stainless Steel Forum!

| It seems some unit info cards are not up to par. Not sure who did them but I will redo them for my submod. I just need to know all of the ones that need to be redone. _______________________________________________ Welcome to the Stainless Steel Forum!

| Hi y from bug report threads on twcenter there is a major issue with the GUI.
it seems that after a while on some systems the memory location holding the GUI gets moved (or something like that) and you get random graphical blocks all over the GUI (not the maps - just the stuff in bottom 25% of screen.)
(NB graphical corruption then causes CTDs.)
gracul has posted that he knows of the problem, fixed it on his system and won't fix it for SS6.3.
only good thing is that if you save and then restart game (probably after reboot to clear memory) the problem is not imported into loaded game.
can you sort that out before doing more GUI stuff?
(was going to provide link but twcenter appears to have gone down again since I started typing this!!!)

| I think the issue is caused by gracul modding the sd files. He has more knowledge of them than i do.
Have you had this happen yourself?
We could always go back to the old UI files. gracul hasn't posted a fix? _______________________________________________ Welcome to the Stainless Steel Forum!

| y - yes it happened to me. had unit cards totally corrupted, random blobs elsewhere, even the event notification squares that float down the left-hand side of the screen had weird graphics. I managed to save and then reload OK but others have reported CTDs soon after it happens. Not been back to twcenter to check but he did say he wasn't going to post a fix - but he may have changed his mind? |

| I sent him a PM. I hope he atleast lets me know what the issue is and how he resolved it.
If you have a previous version of SS, you can try using the ui files from it and see if it happens again. He added files, seperated shields from the other UI files. This could be just too much for the engine to handle. Test it out if you have time. I have to work this weekend so my time is limited.
thanks Roz. _______________________________________________ Welcome to the Stainless Steel Forum!
